How do you feel when you are filled with information, ideas and questions? Well according to Michael, pregnant! And so we pause to deliver the burden of knowledge that we have been amassing, exploring, and discussing. I am looking forward to this pause in our conversation about teacher education. Far too many times we do not take the time to stop and rest and reflect.
That's exactly how I personally feel, that I need time to pause, contemplate, negotiate and acquire more detailed information from the professionals who have more experience.
ReplyDeleteFurthermore, education is defined as changing the behavior of others, and I can see that apparently to change attitudes and mentalities is not an easy mission; we've got, as educational leaders, to fully comprehend the educational virtues, principles and theories to be able to reflect on our own lives first then consequently on our practical work.
To stop and discuss, is in itself a process of reflective learning, so Doctor Babb is already giving us a role model of teaching.
And as a result, I have been preparing and writing notes about different thoughts which I need to discuss further in our "labor" session as you called it.
